We no longer treat our surroundings based on their form and colour, but on more refined rudiments, namely sensory elements. Of these, sound is perhaps the least considered and yet is most disturbing in domestic and commercial environments i.e. Offices, Restaurants, Meeting Rooms etc. The project developed with Caimi is a reversible acoustic panel that is made with one single material, polyester. In addition to its excellent sound absorption qualities using variable density layers without frames & seams it incorporates a highly flame retardant Trevira CS® polyester covering and is completely recyclable without the need to disassemble. Mitesco is light & colourful and can be used to personalise the surrounding area. It can be directly hung or supported on a variety of aesthetic quality mounts & stands: it is practical and inexpensive.
